Debra Herrick, Editor-in-Chief

Debra Herrick is the editor and co-founder of Lum Art Magazine and the associate editorial director of University of California, Santa Barbara magazine and UCSB’s The Current. She serves on the board of trustees for the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara and is a 2023 Individual Artist Fellow (Established) for the Central California region. She received her PhD in Latin American Literature from UCSB and is a proud alum of New College of Florida, the legendary bastion for free thinkers.
