Melgo Art Show at Elsie's Tavern

Cultivate an Art Show by Melgo will hold a closing event at Elsie’s Tavern in Santa Barbara on Friday, March 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The art exhibition, featuring works by Santa Barbara-based visual artist and graphic designer, Diego Melgoza, aka Melgo, will be remain open until March 29.

Melgo’s most recent pieces have been inspired by events that have shaken the U.S. in the past year. Through his work, Melgo intends to uncover the harsh truth behind the politics of contemporary America. His mission is to spark the viewer’s curiosity to reflect and learn more about these topics, especially from the perspective of those most affected. Knowledge that Melgo hopes will inspire viewers to seek change. Change that will allow us to progress as a nation, in other words – progress through knowledge.
