Arts writing and publishing is an essential component of a vibrant arts & culture community.

Lum Art Magazine features writing, art and photography by the area’s leaders in the field. Donations of $500 and above contribute to Lum’s stewardship of excellence in arts writing and critical discourse for the arts. Arts Writing sponsors contribute critical funding to sustain the creative, editorial and administrative processes behind Lum Art Magazine’s ongoing coverage of contemporary art in Santa Barbara, Ventura and California’s Central Coast.

Additionally, Lum is now in its third year of partnering with colleges and community arts education programs to provide internships for emerging arts professionals through a writing practicum with Lum’s editor.

Arts Writing sponsors will have their individual, family or company name listed as a sponsor in the 2022 print magazines and online.
